SEXUAL REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RIGHTS

May 2020, during the onset of covid-19 and menstrual hygiene month got us delivering dignity packs to over 200 adolescent girls and young women from Kaptembwo and Free Area, streets families. Through this engagement we created awareness on menstrual hygiene and management and linked street families especially girls access reproductive health services including family planning services on pro-borno at Family Health Options Kenya (FHOK). We have created awareness on family planning services to street families especially after our encounter with them and the realization they were having unsafe sex and due to stigmatization, they were not able to access family planning services. Haven of Dreams took the responsibility to accompany them to service providers.

Madaraka Primary was our beneficiary during Menstrual Hygiene Day in 2021. We were able to supply dignity packs to girls in school while offering life skills training.
